Retreat In the City - Bristol - January 2018
I am delighted to be partnering up with Dominique Picot, one of my favourite teachers, both to be guided by and to hang out with drinking tea and chatting life. We've put together a day retreat in a rather special location to ease you of your winter ills, to restore energy in the darkest month.
Winter is the natural time to restore our energy and recharge. But often we can feel lethargic and stiff through January, so this is the perfect time to move our bodies, and move out of stagnation.
Inspired by the Traditional Chinese Medicine element of water this season, this day retreat encourages us to flow and find new direction through the darker months. Join Dominique and Pip at the Radnor Rooms, near St Nicks Market for a day of yoga, motion and mindfulness.
A day brimming with vinyasa flow to rejuvenate, yin to replenish, delicious ayurvedic food and feeling our way into nourishing self massage techniques (abhyanga) we invite you to dive fully into your winter well being, cultivate deep intentions and connect to the still waters that run deep!
What does the day look like?
10am - Arrive, tea, intentions (to share or just share with yourself)
10.30 - Vinyasa flow with Dominique (90 minutes)
12.00 - Lunch - warm organic vegan lunch. (please let us know any allergies)
12.45 - Melting meditation and massage bar making followed by self massage techniques (if you have a favourite essential oil then feel free to bring it along)
14.00 - Yin yoga and nidra with Pip (90 minutes)
15.45- Warming ayurvedic drinks on the deck before making your way home

All levels welcome, and please bring a blanket and a cushion.
