Packing for retreat - my essentials

Heading away on retreat… and need to figure what to pack?

Heres my list of essentials

Yoga clothes, light layers are best. (I usually take a clean set for each practice if its a weekend. And maybe 6 sets if its a week or longer and utilise the laundry. Skin does not appreciate sweaty activewear so its best to make sure you can pop something fresh on each session.)

Hoodie/ cosy jumper.

Socks, my favourite ones, always more pairs than time would suggest I need because I love a fresh sock.

Outfits that makes me feel gooooood to wear for dinner.

Underwear. Always way more knickers than I would ever need in the real world, but maybe gettting changed 3 times a day or more so it makes sense.

My favourite skin products that make my skin happiest - its often a time for no make up for me.

Toothpast and toothbrush

Earplugs - I love my loop earplugs

Eye mask (especially important if sharing a room)

Pyjamas

Dressing gown

Swimwear 

Sliders

Walking boots/trainers

Depending on the country a waterproof jacket/ light warm liner coat.

I have learned to always pack my exalt protein powder - just in case I am waking way before breakfast and a salted caramel Tony’s Chocolonely because I do not want to be in sugar withdrawal whilst I am away.

A book.
