what I have learned in 2 years of running a studio

“Before enlightenment we sweep the floor…… After enlightenment we sweep the floor.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In all the busyness that comes from running a business the landmark of it being two years since I got the keys nearly passed me by.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But here we are two years in.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What have I learnt?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Trust your gut

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let your heart lead you

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ask for help when you need it

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There is usually somebody that does a task professionally that will in the end cost you less than you trying to work it all out for yourself

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Having a coach and mentor is an essential investment in business

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You will find your people

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Rest is an essential not a reward

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There will be moments when it all seems so easy and moments when it will be impossibly hard

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“Winging it” is a perfectly acceptable way to run things from time to time

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Just do the damn thing
